When I opened the box, I had my staple gun out figuring that I was going to have to add staples but I was surprised. There were staples everywhere that I would have put them had I assembled them. As I looked them over I realized that the guy who built them did a better job than I could've done, I get a miss here and there and have to go back and cut off the staple and set the stub, there were no misses that I saw in this order. Excellent craftsmanship, well done! My guess is that this fella has built quite a few of these. And I'd like to thank Patricia in customer service for resolving the issue of my order of plastic foundation that disappeared in Visalia, I sincerely appreciate your after the sale effort. I’ll never buy any other type of frame again. The bees use every square inch. They don’t fall apart. No brainer for me. Oh yea, no assembly required, and made in the USA

The frames came picture perfect, and packaged securely. These frames should last several years when properly maintained. This is now my (go to)place for frames.

Should have converted to all plastic frames and foundation long ago. So easy to use. I just waxed and they were ready to go in my supers. Also, they are more uniform when it comes to balancing in the extractor. Extra bonus, recyclable and made in the USA.

We needed to fill supers in a hurry this summer, so we ordered the Acorn heavy waxed yellow plastic foundations. When we opened the box, we knew that we made the right decision. They smelled heavenly of beeswax, and there was no need to take extra time to re-coat them. Even better, the bees began working the foundations immediately!

Overall good experience. I would have liked a little more communication on the delivery, but it came faster than expected so I didn’t deduct a star. Bees like the heavy wax.

We are brand new beekeeper, and our mentor recommended adding a second deep. We bought the medium waxed frames. We love that they are black, which helps us see the brood, and that they are plastic and will last a long time. after only two weeks, they are being drawn out very nicely. We love them!

I'm switching to Acorn only. The bees fill Acorn frames out before any of the other frames I have. And, I can buy foundation only to keep my wooden frames as well.

I ordered frames with heavy wax foundation for the first time. The frames were all in perfect shape-glued and stapled. The heavy wax foundation is always promptly drawn out. I think that acorn foundation and now frames are top quality. They are my first choice.
